Development of a New Holiday Mansion
The new development of the Villa Tauro utilizes the trapezoidal shape of the plot by widening its U-shape towards South. Every room has direct access to the garden, and opens up with large glass fronts towards the pool. The development interprets the local building style in a modern way. The monopitched roof slopes down towards the South, and accommodates the solar-panels for the heating of the swimming pool. The side wing opens up with a roof terrace. The roof inclines towards North, and introduces a window strip, used for the ventilation of the living area.
The existing palms and trees, as well as boulder rocks have been preserved and integrated into the gardenscape.
