Conversion of an office floor into an outpatient clinic
Hospitals and health care facilities often have a sedated and repellent character, evoked by cool colors such as blue or grey, as well as by materials such as stainless steel and glass. By contrast, the interior design of the Rehamed-Neuro creates a cozy and warm atmosphere. It creates a space where patients can feel at home during their waiting time.
For this purpose great importance was attached to the selection of the material and the colors. Warm colors such as red and orange, as well as materials such as linoleum were used for the renovation. Soft, round shapes support the domestic character of the place.
Special elements, such as the reception and the coffee bar not only serve as points of reference, but are also wheelchair accessible by variable levels of height. Clear signage was installed throughout the clinic to facilitate easy orientation.
